tmux - AWS Cloud9 installation failed

Question

I am following the instructions under https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cloud9/latest/user-guide/installer.html#installer-download-run to install AWS Cloud9 IDE.

However, I am getting the following error -

Warning: tmux 3.1c_1 is already installed and up-to-date
To reinstall 3.1c_1, run `brew reinstall tmux`
Installed tmux does not appear to work:

Can anyone please help me with the issue.
