subdirectory - cPanel: Protect a directory with ALL ITS SUBDIRECTORIES with a password

Question

I have a website with a secure directory public_htmlmy_protected_folder
I've added password protection for this directory using cPanel interfaces.

I also have a side process using FTP to add new sub-directories under the top one and these newly created sub-directories doesnt get password-protected.

Is there any way in cPanel to define the root directory to be protected in a way that will also affect all its sub-directories that will be created in the future?
