I'm trying to catch curl requests of https://somehosts.com/api/random, and give those response 200 code with a redirected page. (to avoid DoS).
In my API controller, I have a method at the end,
@RequestMapping(value = "/**", method = RequestMethod.GET)
@ResponseBody
public void handleInvalidAPIReq() {
return redirect();
}
This is catching scenarios such as curl requests of https://somehosts.com/api/random-bad1234
, but not for URLs with special characters such as %
. how can I adjust the value of /**
to catch invalid requests such as https://somehosts.com/api/%fhdjlsb%fhld
please?
Thank you.
-----------------Update-------------
Thanks for the reply. The ultimate goal is to catch scenarios such as https://somehosts.com/api/%uff0e%uff0e%u2216%7bFILE%7d
, and seems we need to handle both reserved characters (e.g %,$,- etc) and decode to unicode and catch in the value. %uff0e%uff0e%u2216%7bFILE%7d
looks need decoding.
