python - Check if CNAME is at the apex of the zone

I am using the AWS API to gather information on route 53 records. Is there a way I can programatically find if there is CNAME or ALIASes used at the apex? Probably a regex. I am using Python , so far I have the records

                    response = client.list_hosted_zones()
                    HostedZones = response['HostedZones']
                    print(f'HostedZones {HostedZones}')
                    keys = ['Name', 'Type', 'Account']
                    values = []
                    for zone in HostedZones:
                        identity = zone['Id']
                        r = client.list_resource_record_sets(HostedZoneId=identity)
                        record = r['ResourceRecordSets']
                        for rec in record:
                            name = rec['Name']

How do I now find which of these names are at the apex of the domain?
