translation - Wordpress site with multiple regions and languages

Question

I'm creating a site in Wordpress with Elementor and TranslatePress. It will function similarly to https://www.zara.com/. The user selects a region and a language from a landing page. They are then redirected to the appropriate homepage.

For example, the US English homepage would be example.com/us/en/. The US Spanish homepage would be example.com/us/sp/. The About Us pages would be example.com/us/en/about-us and example.com/us/sp/about-us respectively.

I know Translate press can get me the language part of the URL, but I'm not sure how to figure out the regions?

For most pages, I only want to have one instance with a translated version. For instance, in all regions, the homepage has the same content, but the copy will be in different languages.

For some pages, such as WooCommerce products, I need the language translation, but I also need the region so I can show the correct price, where to buy link, store locator, etc.

Any ideas where to begin?
