command line - RAR a folder in batch file

Question

In a Windows 10 system, I have rar.exe located in C:Program FilesWinRAR, and a directory, D:dirsample namecat

I want to rar that directory to D:dirsample namecat.rar.

I tried this command but doesn't work, somehow the paths are not working:

"C:Program FilesWinRAR
ar a -r "D:dirsample namecat.rar" "D:dirsample namecat"

Does anyone have a better idea?
