browser - Is there a way to extract closed captions from a video dowloaded via HTTP Live streams (HLS)?

Question

I'm downloading a trailer (this for example) using hls-downloader-web-extension. The end result is what seems a text document (fcbd50bf-9b9d-4e3d-9d44-930bbc2fc6ba).

I'm able to play it on VLC player, and I see it has a subtitles track. Is there a way to save those closed captions into a separate text file.
