php - Correct way to use jquery ajax using daypilot resize

I've been trying to use jquery ajax with daypilot resize method, but can't pass data event to a server side method php in codeigniter.

dp.onEventResize = function (args) {
    console.log(args);
    $.ajax({
      url: "calendar/proccess_resize_event",
      type: 'POST',
      data: args,
      processData: false,
      dataType: 'json'
    })
    .done(function(data){
      console.log(data);
    })
    .fail(function(data){
      console.log(data);
    });
  }

what is the correct way to use it??
