protocol buffers - Converting a Tuple to a Protobuf object in Rust

I have a Vec<std::string::String, std::string::String> and would like to create a proto object below

message Main {
   repeated TestTuple t = 1;
}

message TestTuple {
   string c1 = 1;
   string c2 = 2;
}

How would I go about creating the Main proto object? ie: _1 and _2 of the tuple needs to be part of c1 and c2. Not sure how this is done in Rust. What would be the best practice?

This could also be a non-rust but a more generic proto question. How tuples are generally handled in protobufs.
