Create pivot table without datasource in VSTO C#

Question

Using VSTO(C#) in addin, we connect to DB and retrieved a data table. Sample Query us like

Select sum(salary), sum(experience) from employees

I want to insert this data in datatable to excel as pivot table. I understand that we can programmatically add rows and columns. But all the samples I see, we need to select all the employees and insert in a sheet and from that data, we need to pivot. But the data we handle is large and inserting in excel is not possble.

Please help me find an alternative. Thanks in advance for the help.
