salesforce - Modal Flicker and resize when Lightning Flow is launched in Modal

Question

I have set up a Lightning Screen Flow to execute from a modal screen on App Home page (modal getting launched via button on user click). The idea is to allow users to be able to run the flow within the pop up/modal screen and close it when the flow is accomplished to continue work on the underlying screen.

When the flow is run i.e. moves from one screen to another the modal window resizes/ flickers. I have used lightning components within the screen flow with own css. Any suggestions to stop this resizing from occuring?
