apache2 - Apache custom date time format in ErrorLogFormat

Running a apache2 web server with the following LogFormat line in apache2.conf:

  • LogFormat "Hello %{usec_frac}t" common produces access.log lines like: Hello 066559

The number is the microsecond fraction as described here.

If you now use the exact same format for your ErrorLogFormat like:

  • ErrorLogFormat "Hello %{usec_frac}t" you will get: Hello 2021-01-29 09:32:43.817809

Question: It seems like there is no option to specify a custom date time format in the error log?

I only could find the link from above about the valid format specifier, which as shown do only work for the LogFormat but not for the ErrorLogFormat and this documentation about the error log format, which does not mention anything.
