Migrate existing gitdata from nfs to gitaly in gitlab

everyone, I m new to gitlab. I have build a gitlab (gitlab 13.5.5 -ee) with Nfs storage with the gitlab data.

currently i would like to upgrade my gitlab to use gitaly.

I clone my git-data folder from the nfs to gitaly server with scp. However, when i try to commit the project, gitaly will show the following error: no alternates directory exists. I go to the gitlab data folder in gitaly and see the project in the @ hash folder.

Any one have similar experience how to clone the nfs git-data to gitaly? Thanks so much!!!
