artificial intelligence - how to find out if you have bias in your data , when you are preparing/cleaning data for a machine learning project?

I want to start learning/experimenting machine learning. I downloaded a set of test data ( which includes past order data from few years ) for a company, and want to work on generating a model, which can predict if the customer orders will increase or decrease.

as the first step, cleaning and preparing data, is there a way to detect, if there is a bias in my data, before even starting to work on this?

also, as there are so many platforms these days , like AWS, AZURE, which exposes Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning as a service, where you can just submit your data and get insights. anyone recommends any of the services, if they have tried and found out to be very good and useful?
