python - IS there a way to update s3 object "Body" without load the object to s3?

Question

I need to work with s3 object.
Steps needed to perform are:

1. downloading s3 object

object = s3_resource.Object bucket_name=first_bucket_name, key=first_file_name)

2. Modify content

data = object.get()['Body'].read()
# Modify data as remove blanks or nulls
data_modified = data.modify()

3. Update object Body only in memory. I don't want to upload the changes to s3. So we can continue to use object in my code without access to s3.

Is there a way to perform step 3?
