onedrive - Unable to delete (uninstall) vcpkg

Question

I installed vcpkg following this instruction, and later figured out that I don't need it.

I've done vcpkg integrate remove before deleting as explained in This post.

I can delete every folder except the vcpkg/ports/armadillo folder, which gives the following error when running Remove-item -path armadillo -recurse -force in PowerShell:

Remove-item : There is a mismatch between the tag specified in the request and the tag present in the reparse point

The command worked when removing all the other folders, and unfortunately, I can't make sense of the error message. It may be a permissions issue since it is located in a OneDrive folder, but I have gone online and deleted the whole vcpkg folder from the browser version of OneDrive, and I still cannot delete it locally. When going in to the folder and typing ls, I get this error:

ls : The tag present in the reparse point buffer is invalid.

Googeling the error just gives me solutions involving admin rights, which I do not have on this company machine.

How do I go on to remove this folder?
