dataframe - ceil column in a data frame python

I created a column in a data frame in python, but I need to ceil it, but when I try to, is giving me an error, and can't find a way to solve it.

TypeError: ufunc 'ceil' not supported for the input types, and the inputs could not be safely coerced to any supported types according to the casting rule ''safe''

df_count['Days Since WD'] = (curr_time - df_count['Activity Date'])
df_count['Days Since WD'] = df_count['Days Since WD'].apply(np.ceil)
