wordpress - yoast + wp rest api + custom post types

Question

I've installed Yoast SEO, WP REST API, and did set up my custom post type.

The problem I am facing is that Yoast is not exposing the right SEO keywoard/description to the API for my custom post type.

It just pick some random title.

For plain posts/pages everything works fine.

What could be the problem?
