usbserial - Sending data from a PC to an Android device on USB

Question

I want to send data between a PC (USB host) to a USB device (Android device) using USB OTG cable.

I understand Android device can work as a USB host and can send data over serial port. I read the USB accessory but I couldn't understand the way to do it.

I read this SO post which suggested it's not possible send data from PC to Android because it acts as USB host but as per the android docs it can act as USB device as well. I read in another SO Post user is able to connect 2 Android device as host and device by passing some control message.

I did research on this online and I couldn't find concrete answer. Is it possible to send data from a PC to Android using USB OTG?

Any help would be appreciable, thanks in advance.
