What is the 24 hour Great Scott TreadMills Challenge?

The radio host is running, walking and jogging for 24 hours on the exercise machine and will even present his Radio 2 afternoon show while on the move.

He will aim to trot an impressive 69 miles by the time the challenge comes to an end on Thursday morning.

Along the way he will be offered moral support and joined by a whole host of famous friends and colleagues.

TOWIE's Gemma Collins, Louis Theroux and singer Olly Murs will all stop by to offer their advice.

Many Radio 2 shows will also broadcast alongside Scott with Sara Cox fronting her Drivetime slot and Zoe Ball's keeping his spirits bright with her breakfast show.

What were the previous Children in Need challenges?

Scott is following in some very famous footsteps after Sophie Ellis-Bexter boogied for 24 hour straight with her Kitchen Disco Danceathon in 2021 - raising an incredible £1M for the charity.

In 2020 Joe Wicks embarked on his 24 Hour PE challenge, which saw the fitness fanatic work out through the night.

A year earlier Rylan Clark's Great Ka-RY-oke Challenge had him singing for the lengthy period - with both men raising a combined £5M.
