How to retain order of in query in queryset in mongoose

Question

Say I have a Book object in mongoose. I have an array of two Book ids:

const bookIds = [bookOneId, bookTwoId]

I do a query to get those two books like so:

const books = await Book.find({_id: {$in: bookIds})

Will the order of the queryset be retained so that the books array contains the books in the same order that the BookIds array contained?
