routes - How can I customize Joomla! Tag URL in Custome Component?

Question

I have a Joomla! Version 3 Custom Component, "com_news" for publishing newspaper. I have a Front-end view named, "details" to show news details. It's URL is like below:

http://example.com/international/details/539-title-of-the-news-story

I have implemented Joomla! Tags system to my component. When I save a news, Tag data is being saved properly in tables, like, ##__tags, ##__ucm_base, ##__ucm_content and ##__contentitem_tag_map.

And in the Front-end view, the Tag assigned to a news, gets the URL like,

http://example.com/component/tags/tag/test

Is there any way to construct the Tag URL like below:

http://example.com/tag/test

Can it be done using Front-end "router.php" file?

At present the Front-end router class, "NewsRouter" extends "JComponentRouterBase" and contains the standard "build" and "parse" method.
