I'm developing a Spring Boot app integrating with drools engine. For that, I need to use a specific file type with extension .drl (eg: my-rule-file.drl). These files contains logics which are used by application and loaded into the application context when app starts.
Usually these files are located in application's src/main/resources folder.
Therefore if I make a change to one of these files, I have to re build the whole application and redeploy.
Instead, I want to store those files in a remote location and fetch from there when application starts. In that way I only need to restart the application to apply new changes.
My Spring boot app has already connected to a config server to fetch property files.
Therefore, are there any method to store my .drl files in same config server and fetch when application starts?
