I can easily delete the comment tag of an MP3 file using the Mp3tag utility.
I'm trying to do the same in Python using eyed3.
I can't seem make any sense out of eyed3's documentation. I've searched for an example with no success.
Can anyone provide a basic Python code snippet to delete the comment tag of an MP3 file using eyed3?
UPDATE:
Digging around in the source code, it appears I could do something like this:
import eyed3
mp3 = eyed3.load("test.mp3")
del mp3.tag.frame_set[eyed3.id3.frames.COMMENT_FID]
mp3.tag.save()
Pretty ugly. Have not found anything more elegant in the API.
