javascript - How to create drop menu and add to the table column in Tableau

Question

I have created a Table in Tableau having 3 rows like x,Y,Z and created on parameter having multiple values like A,B,C (drop menu)and changed into calculated field. How to add that parameter or calculation field to table column? Is it possible to do it on Tableau? Those parameter values should be actionable by calling outside API's? Can anyone guide me how to do it.
